A short film is cinema’s clearest and most daring mirror of the world. 5 days, 85 films lasting up to 30 minutes, stories of 65 authors from 28 countries… Along with the International short film competition, Festival Darlings and Baltic Music Video competition, two innovations have taken place: Latvian shorts and SHORT RIGA: Persona – a retrospective programme of a director. Each work is like a little corn grain, which heats up on the screen and pops in the form of reflection, emotion, laughter and tears. No one will stay hungry after the adventure!
